About
BucketBay is a desktop manager for S3-compatible object storage. Save a connection once and work with your buckets the way you work with any other folder on your computer. Enter your access key, secret key, region and endpoint, and BucketBay connects to Amazon S3, Cloudflare R2, MinIO, Backblaze B2, Wasabi, DigitalOcean Spaces, or any other service that speaks the S3 protocol. Keep as many connections as you need side by side and switch between them at any time. BROWSE YOUR BUCKETS Move through prefixes like folders, sort and filter, and see the size, storage class and modification date of every object. Open an object to inspect its metadata, check its version history, or restore an earlier version. Rename, move, delete, or change the storage class without leaving the window. Save the prefixes you visit often and jump straight back to them. UPLOAD FILES AND FOLDERS Pick files, pick a whole folder, or drag anything straight onto the window. A folder keeps its structure on the way up, so what you see on your computer is what you get in the bucket. Every upload is shown to you first, with the file count, the total size and the destination, so nothing is ever queued by surprise. TRANSFER WITH CONFIDENCE Queue as many uploads and downloads as you like and watch them run with live speed and progress. Large uploads are split into parts, so a transfer that fails partway resumes from the part that stopped rather than starting over. Downloads write to a temporary file and are renamed only when complete, so a half-finished file is never mistaken for a good one. Pause the whole queue, retry everything that failed at once, and set a speed limit when you need bandwidth for something else. SHARE A LINK Create a temporary link to any object, choose how long it should stay valid, and share it with someone who has no account and no client. For a bucket you already serve publicly, save its public address once and copy a permanent link to any object inside it with a single click. YOUR KEYS STAY YOURS Secret keys are never stored in the application database. They are held in your operating system's credential store where one is available, and otherwise encrypted on your own machine. BucketBay talks only to the storage endpoints you configure.
